An important note for users on macOS 26.0 and 26.1: Due to a known issue it is impossible to select “Macintosh HD” as a browsing permission, or when selecting “Macintosh HD” the wrong permission to “/.nofollow” is being created. This has been fixed in macOS 26.2. Please update.
If you are still using macOS 26.0 or 26.1, it is instead recommended to select “Users” and “Volumes” right inside your “Macintosh HD”. To reveal hidden folder “Volumes” in Finder or in the Open dialog, press ⇧ shift ⌘ command .
